There is some important new for the aspirants of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2016. In order to improve the existing examination pattern, the Staff Selection Board (SSC) has recently announced to postpone the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) that was to be held on May 8 and May 22, 2016. Now SSC CGL Tier I Exam Postponed to August 2016.
SSC has been planning to implement online tests for CGL exams from last year.Even in the SSC CGL 2016 notification, they have specified about such a move subject to Govt of India`s approval.
But In March 2016, the SSC CPO written exams were cancelled after images of a leaked question paper were shared on Whatsapp & Facebook.
Although a re-exam has been scheduled in the month of June, this incident has brought bad reputation for the commission.
Tier I Exam May Go Online
The combined graduate level exam is much bigger compared to others with large number of candidates expected to appear. So SSC wouldn’t want any malpractices to happen in CGL 2016.
- Inorder to get the approval from DoPT, Govt of India & to make arrangements for conducting the online exams, SSC will need more time.
- That is why, they have scheduled the SSC CGL 2016 exams to August providing them with 3 months to revamp the whole procedure.
As per source, this decision has been taken keeping in mind the interest of the candidates appearing for the examination.
Also, the commission is planning to make couple of changes like section cutoff, qualifying nature and among others.
All the candidates are requested to keep a track on all latest updates. For more details candidates can visit the official website, www.ssc.nic.in.
